Breasts, posture, and expression
Do, and if so; how breasts can affect bodily posture and movement? If I am a woman and feel insecure about my breast, I may round my shoulders or retract my sternum to sink the anterior aspect of my ribcage, sinking the glands that are my breast closer to my “center” in hopes of hiding them from the gaze of others. On the contra, we can have some one that get a sense of power and/or identity in virtue of their breast, that they may “push” their chest further away from their “center” to funnel the gaze of others to themselves.
There is the obvious sexual dimension of breast, in particular the female to male affordance vector quality, in general.
There is also the structural dimension. They can affect a person’s posture if they are significant in size and in weight. This will interact and alter the position and activations of bodily fascial-force lines. Myers and others are mapping these aspects of the human body.
This structure and phenomena has a unique bridging to the body and mind relation.
