Statement of Purpose
Dreyfus-McDowell are debating on the structure and contents of perception. The bodymind is a unit of a universal, from a priori pattern (non-linear/geodesic/fuller geometry), extended in time(motion) grounded with space by maintaining a balance; and we are just balances on top of balances which balances of that Balance. Heidegger identified Dasein with temporality. I want to add our spatiality.
Im working on the structure of the body, and bodymind is one whole, therefore Im working on the structure of the mind. The point of balance is the center of gravities of all our physiological process which reverberate with the electromagnetic forces like an instrument-and-artist playing its song, and creating a feedback as when an electric guitar is help up against a guitar amplifier.
Current Draft
A variety of early adulthood experiences made me painfully aware of gaps, at both a practical and theoretical level, within the fields of medicine and biology. After a decade of trying to make sense of my physical plight, I’m now focused on pursuing a doctorate degree in philosophy with hopes of contributing towards resolving these gaps. My philosophical interests lie at the intersection of philosophy of mind, epistemology, and phenomenology. In particular, the epistemic relation between the body and the world. As well as, the (meta)physical relation between structure, movement, balance, and perception.

(As an undergraduate, my senior thesis investigated the problem of self-change and argue for the possibility of self-change by synthesizing Agnes Callard's ideas of proleptic reasons and aspiration to explore the necessary conditions for someone to redeem themselves after a past version of themselves committed a horrific act on another person.)

Below you’ll find the current draft of my SOP. It’s pretty bare at the moment but if you look at my prior ones I tend to ramble too much. Fortunately and unfortunately, I’ve had a non-traditional path. So, although that does makes me stand out, it also becomes overwhelming at times.
In this introductory paragraph, I’m trying to start by hinting at my lived experiences with two sentences and immediately pivoting towards my academic philosophy work. What Im worried is that it might come off too strong or that I’m ‘set in my ways’ with my ideas. Which I know is unappealing for admission committees. But I hope that I’ve been able to demonstrate via our conversations that I’m not set with my philosophical ideas. For me its about surveying the intellectual landscape and seeing which one can help me make sense of some ineffable experiences.
One of the few beliefs I hold with high credence is the one I’ve been developing with my spatiality as evidence by my sudden ability to whirl without getting dizzy like the Dervishes. Whatever is there, whatever that is, is what serves as the ground for my investigations.
(Anything in parentheses is still need to be refined. But serve to get the feel of the overall paper.)

Prior Draft
A variety of early adulthood experiences shifted my intentionality towards the balancing point between my material body and the world. In trying to understand this phenomenon, I've significantly improved my posture, spatiality, self-knowledge, and has served as the grounds for my academic aspirations for the past decade. My philosophical interests lie at the intersection of philosophy of mind, epistemology, and phenomenology. In particular, the epistemic relation between the body and the world. As well as, the relation between structure, movement, balance, and the phenomenon of subjectivity. (As an undergraduate, my senior thesis investigated the problem of self-change and argue for the possibility of self-change while synthesizing Agnes Callard's ideas of proleptic reasons and aspiration to explore the necessary conditions for someone to redeem themselves after a past version of themselves committed a horrific act on another person.)
